After 34 hours of labor, Jackson Joseph Sheahan made his way into the world. (My wife, Sam, is the real hero here, but Jack is still getting most of the fanfare.) He was born at 7:54 AM on Wednesday, March 12. At birth he weighed 9 pounds, and was nearly 22 inches long. He looks a lot like me, except clean shaven and with male-pattern baldness. Alternately he also looks a lot like "The Commish." Needless to say he is adorable.
